Then you will be there for two days

Langport section should take you about 5-6 hours if you rush.
10+ or so if you talk to every NPC and do all the side content.
Also depends on your difficulty setting and how much combat you do.
Some side stuff has to be done since the main quest usually dont progresses before you do at least some side quest first.
Overall chapter 2 is a good chunk longer then chapter 1.

The game is 8 chapters (Chapter 1-5 + Prologue + Intermission + Finale)
Chapter 1 and Finale is 2 days, Chapter 2 and Intermision is 3 days, from chapter 3 on, it's 4 days.
Lenght of a chapter depend on difficulty, how many battle you do, if you craft weapons / armors / quartz, loot chests, what's your level, what's your Xifa setup, who you use, if you use turbo mode and skip cutscenes....

If you don't retry boss battles and don't take 10 min for a simple random enemy, 5-7 hrs is ok to finish the chapter (skipping side quests). But, if you skip side quest, you can't find some helping quartz, can't buy some stuff (no money lol), can't level up.... It will be "harder" (not really, the game is not hard) and longer.
Then it's more like 10+h fro side content and all.

You already want to rush the game ? It's boring for you ? If yes, then stop playing.
You find it so enjoyable you don't want it to end ? If yes, then keep playing lol

It's not that I'm rushing through the game, I've never really like the trails side quests.
