Missable food items?
I couldn't afford most food items early on, and didn't realize how powerful the gourmet points buffs were. I am worried I missed quite a few food items. Are there any I can't go back and retrieve later?

Thanks

On the plus side, there are many more food items overall then needed to fill the gourmet meter to max.
So you can miss a few. I reached the final gourmet level in chapter 5 if i remeber correctly.
Definitely quiet a while before the end of the game and had a bunch of new food stuff to buy after that.
So unless you bought NOTHING in an entire chapter you should be good.

You need 50000 points to reach Gourmet Rank 10 and there are 65000 points in total. Since you're somewhat early in the game you should be fine as long as you buy food from now on, especially the family meals as they give the most amounts of points.

During my first playthrough I didn't buy any food items from Creil or Langport because I didn't know they were a one-time visit, and still managed to reach Rank 10 without issue.

Just want to point out that I've bought every single piece of gear (besides accessories) and food/extra item so far and have had no issues affording them. Not sure how you ran into money issues unless you're not using exchange often when you need to.

I doubt that, maybe if you bought it for just 4 party members and even then I had to sell stuff to make sure my main party was maxxed out. Around chapter 3-4 you are probably the poorest you can ever be in the game. Especially if you buy all the collectables (gifts, food, special trade items etc) as well.

You have been checking your in-game achievement list right? Go to the main menu (with status and orbment and equip and stuff) and press the dpad up. You can get a lot of mira from those.

I had the same issues with money everyone mentioned AND as The last poster mentioned, I had NO IDEA you got money from achievements until just recently. Complete game changer.

Tfw finished the game on first run with lots of money, never had equipment nor money management problems + every chapter I was in profit

Not my experience. I'm in Chapter 4 right now and been buying up all the collectibles and gearing out my party and I still have over 200,000 mira to spare.

Maybe you've not been doing the achievements that give you thousands of sepith mass? I already popped the in-game achievement for having earned over 1 million mira in total (total earned, not actually having it all unspent) back in Chapter 3.

To be fair though, I must note that I did grind out in the vast open desert enemy kills to get to 1,500 which took me maybe 10-15 minutes at most, so that contributed quite a bit towards the sepith gains.

Nope, have no issues. Also it seems weird when the thread is talking about missing food early game to being broke to point out mid/late game money issues.
