YOU are using pronous every single day.
He, She, They, Them and so on, are ALL pronouns by definition.
So i always get a good chuckle out of the " i would never use any pronouns!" declarations.
You have already, your whole life in fact.
Looking after your mental health is very important these days, and I hear playing good games can help. Here's a list to get you started:

I, we, every, everybody, I. All pronouns from your text.
How is it that it is a problem in one scene, one time in a game that can easily be stretched into 150hrs? Especially when it in this case is also in a scene where the line is actually completely normal contextually.
If you're going to complain about one scene you want to take out of context then complain about EVERY use of pronoun in the text.
I have nothing against LGBTQ community or something. If I was homophobic or something I sure not enjoy games like JRPGs, wich have messages about acceptance and friendship.
But pronouns is like Internet Stuff, its like "Beta Male, Sigma Male" stuff.
I think pronouns and other things is gonna make people cringe in the future.
Again: I'm not a homophobic or racist or something like that.
Again, there are NO gender neutral "pronouns" used in the game.
There is a single scene in 120 hours where a character is asked by what pronoun they go by because its not clear if its a boy or girl. And the boy then says he is male and gets annoyed being asked. THATS IT.
In the Japanese script he was asked if they prefer to be called -chan or -kun as a honorific which is THE EXACT SAME THING, asking if they prefer a masculine or feminine address.
But that does not translate to English because that languange does not use honorifics.
And no, simply asking "are you male or female" is NOT the correct translation because that was not asked in Japanese.
This 20 second scene has been blown out of all proportions and got people declaring "Preorder canceled! Falcom now woke!"
Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cringe how some people reacted to this completely harmless scene.
The world has kind of gone crazy with the pronoun and DEI fad especially in the last few years. However, the pedal-um is swinging back to sanity. Microsoft fired their entire DEI team. Farm and Tractor, Meta, and Google dropped also the program. Alot of companies realized it is causing companies to lose money by getting into trends and politics and it is best to stay out otherwise it could alienate certain segments of their customer base, like Target and Budlight. Budlight slipped down to third this year in sales. The companies lost more than $30 billion in sales.
This website has examples of the strangest pronouns I have ever seen. Some of the traditional ones like him or her are there but their are some strange ones like ze and xie.

Kun or Chan is a affective way to call a younger boy or girl in Japan. But here in west Boy and Girl are now offensive. If is not DEI/Political Correctness related, why not simply put Boy or Girl?
Again: I have nothing againts LGBT people, I just dont like this pronouns thing. Lets suposse there's a hipotethic trans character in the game, is a She. Now with pronouns, there's so much headache like "they them", here in my country Brasil is "elu delu", "todes (all in portuguese neutral)", in Mexico is "latinx", and this stuff not helps people get empathy for LGBT cause.
Here they use "elu delu" "ile dile", "todes", they are butchering the dictionary.
And again, I have nothing, absolute nothing LGBT people. If I was a dude bro homophobic I was not playing a JRPG with colorful characters, I was playing Gears of War or COD. I tottally Open to dialogue and respect. I just don't like modern politics.
The vast majority of them can’t even theoretically function like this.
you really wanna be the one to talk about that?
