Avoid game the aparently it been "modernized" and have their supporters of such content everywhere saying every typcial word and attacking those wanting proper and respected translations
title and know will get typical awards and backlash etc... but went to reddit just to ask if it was or not and got massive amounts non stop of them, so ya clear it is and they are. (plus the 1 post here about it).

A few things.

1: There are already multiple threads about this topic. In fact you are in one of them. This thread is really not needed

2: The things people complain about currently are literally examples of correct translation from the Japanese script. Meaning that if you have a problem with the "woke" nature of the game than that is not the fault of the localisation.

3: If you don't like the localisation than just play the fan translation. Nothing prevents you from doing so. The mod has proven to work for this version of this game a while a go.

4: If you want to support the devs of the game than the official Japanese version of the game on pc is also the English release you are currently saying people should not buy.

The problem is not so much with "woke" but with fanfiction and the "modernizing" of the text. "holy ***t" "crazy freak" and so on. They even changed "Talk" to "Chat" for some reason, why? What about when a character says simple "yes" in japanese, but the subtitles are pure “translator” fantasy? Weaboo-style Japanese is simple and straightforward, but NISA make characters turn into edgy Reddit regulars, with an urban dictionary instead of vocabulary. Not only is it unpleasant to read, but for non-native speakers it is also difficult to read, unlike a direct translation.

If I as a non native English speaker with a visual impairment can read the dialog with no issue I think it should be fine. Also chat on this case is literally a synonimo o no what awful change.

Congratulations, this is the dumbest thing i read on the internet in a while.
Which is not a small feat. Take my award for making me laugh out loud.

Just for your information, the word "chat" is not a modern word and has been part of the English language for nearly 900 years.
"to chat" ,meaning " to talk with someone" has been recorded in documents since 1150 AD.
If you people make up ♥♥♥♥ to whine about, could you at least do SOME research about it first so you dont appear like total tools?

I mean, he's not wrong lol. I've played all the trails games besides this and the games that proceed it, and there is a clear xseed/nisa fanfiction mode that goes on, and it stands out.

Its funny, sometimes it was easier for me to understand jp dub, then "nisa english", but jp text is too hard for now

Nor english or japanese are my native languages. I learned english because i didn't want to depend on translation, and now I'm learning japanese for the same motive. Not only it expands our cultural options but also helps to expand our view about many things.

The fans of English localized products are annoying. It happened to everything. These people will defend all the bad localization choices at all costs.

Nowhere near as annoying as the localisations, the Joss Whedon dialogue is complete cringe

Well their grammar/translation is at least better than yours which is a plus. Honestly not even sure what point you're trying to get across here..
