New Trails game announced for Japan "Kai no Kiseki: Farewell O Zemuria" 2024

So, today Falcom announced the next game in their Trails franchise to be released in Japan and to the surprise of many fans its not "Kuro no Kiseki 3" but a new entry called
"Kai no Kiseki: Farewell, O Zemuria-"

Slated for a late 2024 release.

Any thoughts? I am quiet surprised that they did not go with Kuro 3 to be honest because there was quiet a few unresolved plot points from the first two games.

FYI, Kai no Kiseki is the latest arc for Trails game. Hence the title.

If this is the last arc, that's great! We still have several years' worth of enjoyment and then we can finally wake up from this everlasting dream!

Kai is the last one, no Kai 2 or 3.
