New Trails game announced for Japan "Kai no Kiseki: Farewell O Zemuria" 2024
So, today Falcom announced the next game in their Trails franchise to be released in Japan and to the surprise of many fans its not "Kuro no Kiseki 3" but a new entry called
"Kai no Kiseki: Farewell, O Zemuria-"

Slated for a late 2024 release.

Any thoughts? I am quiet surprised that they did not go with Kuro 3 to be honest because there was quiet a few unresolved plot points from the first two games.

FYI, Kai no Kiseki is the latest arc for Trails game. Hence the title.

If this is the last arc, that's great! We still have several years' worth of enjoyment and then we can finally wake up from this everlasting dream!

We could watch the damn fairy tale until it has finished within our lifetimes!

Kai is the last one, no Kai 2 or 3.

Kai is pretty much kuro 3. Van is the protagonist.

Directly from an interview with Kondo:
"Rest assured, as the story will still have its main focus on Van and the members of the Arkride Solutions Office. Furthermore, people who play essential roles in Zemuria will also appear."
