Come on, at least be a bit more unique with unique art and such. I hate to be this kind of person but this is disgusting

PA and Rimworld have almost nothing in common, where is this game and Rimworld look identical...

You could take the augment to it's natural conclusion and say that Rimworld is a ripoff of Dwarf Fortress, which in turn is a ripoff of Nethack, which in turn is a ripoff of MUDS which in turn is a ripoff of... ect, ect.

The point being EVERY game is inspired by/ a ripoff of something else. Its more how a game puts itself apart from the others, rather than the sum of its parts that should count.

Hm. While the RW artstyle is made of smooth bézier curves, the assets of this game look hand-drawn. Indeed they look pretty similar but the difference is big enough I think.
And it seems that its gameplay is more like a present-day society sim, not a wasteland colony builder. Not sure if I will pick it but honestly I started to be interested in the game, ironically thanks to this topic.

Yep i agreed. This is a 1 to 1 Copy of Rimworld. You cant see it. But i think the Creator of Rimworld is not that bad person. So anyway hope you get what you want.

- n-ah, Dwarf Fortress copy. Rimworld used Prison Architect graphics because Introversion allowed them. Otherwise two very differnt games. Unlike in case with Dwarf Fortress, which served as obvious inspiration for RimWorld.

I haven't played it yet. But you guys realize that you can actually download and dare I say play games on here? It's not just a screenshot gallery.

By which I mean to say: a similar visual style does not a shameless copy make. There's a bit more to a game than that.

Some people identify themselves as their favorite sports team and thats what they live around. They wake up and become one with that team (even though the team has no idea they exist...or...hopefully they don't anyway. Like the team wakes up to the fan staring at them as they sleep xD which happens a lot...)...

some base their whole lives around their favorite game (minecraft and if any look-alike of minecraft comes out even if any vaguely similar then its a threat to the persons very existence. Or rimworld in this case... etc). Which is fine as should have a reason to live, but harassing game developers and fans of a game (happens in gacha games all the time, especially with genshin fans) goes a step far too far. Like if there is a gacha better than genshin or just as good, the genshin fans take that as a personal injury lawsuit as it threatens their very reason to live

Personally no idea how this game is, as waiting for reviews, but looks really cool. There is barely any mars games out there and they all died, failed or just suck or too outdated. The best one for a city/colony genre was probably uh...that paradox sims game, but the modding community just never took off sadly and the game is pretty buggy with the DLC added.
