The problem was the screen resolution. Many fixes that people suggested across the internet is to edit the config.cgf file, which is located in your steamapps/magic 2014 directory. In order for a config file to be generated, the game has to at least run once.
My game never ran...it crashed before it could, so no config file was ever generated that I could edit.
Solution: run the game on another computer. Go to a friends house, your mom, or your sister. Download steam, log in to your account, download and install the game, launch the game. Cross your fingers and hope it works on their machine.
If It does, it will create a config file in there steamapps/magic 2014 directory. Email or copy that config file to your computer. Place that config file inside your steamapps/magic 2014 directory. Edit the config file to adjust it to whatever resolution you use by default on your desktop.
Fixed.
Furthermore, don't worry if the second machine is running a different version of windows. Doesn't matter. I took the config file from a machine that was running win 7 64 bit and used it to run my machine which uses winxp 32.
If you do not have access to another computer capable of running magic 2014 for a few minutes, to generate a config file, PM me. I'll email you mine.
Ps:sorry for my bad english
I can't help you without more information.
