This is some micro transaction pay to win bs right there imo.
It is ridiculous to call this a scam. And, frankly, it just reeks of the entitled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is greatly harming the hobby. This game costs $10. That is about the cost of three booster packs. I would say you are getting MORE than your money's worth.
Of course Wizards wants to support Magic Online. Just like they want to continue to support paper magic. This game has always been a low cost way to play against AI opponents in an extremely casual environment or take on challenges which teach players potentially new tricks. Adding Sealed Deck play is a great help in furthering that purpose (teaching people to play and getting them involved) and does so without replacing Magic Online (which would be ridiculous to expect).
$10 is the cost of a single movie in the theaters. If you don't think this game is worth that, don't buy it.
I'd rather everyone got 5 slots, the game was 15 bucks and nobody can buy more slots. but that would be too fair, and too little money in wotc pockets
It also brings up the question, how long until someone figures out how to hex edit a "perfect" sealed deck.
I'd rather not pay to play.
Ive been playing scrolls mojangs new game and its way more entertaining then this stuff they've been shoveling us and no where near the money grubbing.
