seems a little strange but the toptiertactics site is very helpful.
i think it depends on the decks.if u buy the samurai deck you must have the expansion to use the deck.its a bit weird you can purchase decks for the expansion without having the expansion.
they dont mention that when you buy decks.
so all i can say is that the keys that ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ linked to work if you have the expansion.
I'm not sure what you mean?
If you don't pay for the decks, such as buying the expansion or any of the deck packs, you don't even own the deck to unlock anything.
If you mean paying for a deck key, then that's different from the promotional codes. Every deck has 30 cards locked to begin with. You either grind or buy a deck key to unlock these 30 cards. Using the promotional codes unlocks an additional 10 cards, which is separate from the deck key & those 30 cards.
Best to clarify this since the DLC is somewhat confusing to beginners and there are always threads about people buying the wrong thing for DotP.
