Unlocking Fisherman's Hut ?

Hi,
I know Rodrigo is a hidden character and i'm supposed to try and find him my own way. But i don't have the slightest idea where to start getting the mats to unlock that building.
Can someone push me in the right direction, please ?
It's a wonderful game and i'd like to keep playing it but i'm stuck, and sad

It's a secret path in World 1.
You need to use specific character to open the secret path.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to where this secret is, or how to access it? I think I went through all the world 1 levels and didn't find an alternative exit anywhere.

You need specific characters to reach some hidden paths, eslewise there's stuff like trees and vines in the way of those paths

Minor disclaimer, my memory isn't the best and I'm away from my computer so I can't double check
Okay, so, Iirc, you need either Axel or Farmer. It's on the stage before the boss on either the left or north wall and WILL NOT have an arrow pointed to it until you open the route, it'll be past both another stage and a chest reward for clearing it. Be ready for a FIGHT as this stage has difficulty scaling on the tier of being near the end of area 2. This will open the route to beach, which has most of the resources to work on the fishin' hut.
