Decrypter A location

Does anybody know where Decrypter A is? I have found Decrypter B and C, but can't find Decrypter A.

Also, what do you do with the decrypters once you find all three of them?

Decrypter A location (Hint): Somewhere in level 8 "Blackout"

Decrypter A location (Solution): Level 8 "Blackout" (the level right after meeting the 3 gang members in the locker rooms for the first time). Go to the very end of the dark hallway (with the drunk guy), go up the stairs, then up the stairs again and open the door to the 2nd floor hallway, follow the hall to a small server room where Decrypter A is on a small table

Where to use Decrypters (Hint): Somewhere in level 22 "Cells"

Where to use Decrypters (Solution): Level 22 "Cells", there's an armoured door at the far North East part of the level, there's a hit written on the door to open it. Open cell 08 using the levers by the exit. In cell 08 there's a fire alarm that's circled with red paint, pull the fire alarm to open the armoured door. Place all the Decrypters on the terminal and activate the cutscene. After the cutscene, a new item is unlocked that enables the option to get the 'True' ending by taking an alternative path (the choice is made in level 25 "The Beast").

The item that you get from using the Decrypters is called "Fox's Keycard", right?

Also, can you go a bit more in-depth as to what happens when you unlock the secret door in "The Beast" level?

I'm using the level select and the decrypters don't seem to carry over if I skip levels and the door isn't appearing in the final level anymore when I use the level select. I assume you have to at least have one decrypter for it to appear...?

I'm currently working on a guide for this game for Neoseeker and don't want to have to go through the full game again just to see what happens after you open the door. =P

Yup! The item you get is "Fox's Keycard" which opens the alternative exit.

When you open the door: You get the 'true' ending for Jawbreaker. With Fox's Keycard the player is now able to enter government buildings, so they plan to travel to 'Ground Zero' where the weapon has first released by the army to see if they can stop it.

If you're doing a guide I can send you a video of the alternate ending (it's basically impossible to get through Level Selector to keep it a 'secret ending' hah).

Yeah, if you can send it to me or just post it here, I'd love to see it. I mainly want to see what happens when you go through the door. But yeah, I'd like to see it for completion purposes also. Haha. At the moment, I have no way of getting it without going through the game again.
