Sonic Adventure 2 PC bugs I am ♥♥♥♥ing raging at because they make the game horrible. And I am just talking about bugs for speed character levels.
Holding forward doesn’t make you go directly straight.

Trying to light speed dash and somersaulting instead.

Rail collision is HORENDOUS. I touch a rail on the top, and I don’t interact with it.

Riding on rails is a huge problem. Holding forward on a rail makes you brake and fall off.

The jump button refuses to work 1/3rd of the time.

Homing attack does a ♥♥♥♥ty job of HOMING ON TO THE ENEMY.

When I do manage to home on, I get hurt when I collide with the enemy. (This happens half the time trying.)

FIX YOUR ♥♥♥♥, SEGA.

EDIT:
I left a comment on here explaining my newest expirence with the game, but I know a lot of people are lazy and wont read all the comments before commenting on their own and insulting me or something. I will leve that comment here so you will have no reason to yell at my gaming skills (which are actually not an issue...) It seems this game was just not made for computer keyboards, I guess.

Update on my current situation comment:
Anyways, things are better now that I have a controllor, so the game is once again playable and fun without me getting stupidly angry at a game.
The keyboard controls were not left to be desired, which caused most of my bugs.
I still have a bit of troublewith the rail collision, but its nothing to be angry about anymore, honestly.

You must be 12 years old, because the PC version is no different than the Dreamcast version, which was around before you knew how to spell "Penis".

Crawl back into your crib.

I am 17 years old, and I am just hoping that SEGA can fix a few glitches. It is hard to play this when the glitches ♥♥♥♥ everything up. Oh, just so you know, I HAD the dreamcast version. It was less buggy for me than this.

If you HAD the dreamcast you would of known that HOLDING FORWARD didn't do heartheartheart on rails. Holding the brake button was what made you stabelize. damn noob

Odd. I'm finding this version to be less buggy.

Those aren't bugs, you just don't know the mechanics of the game well enough.
Yeah those aren't bugs. That's just how the games always been.

Thanks,

I'm ecstatic that they've brought this to PC. I've only played a bit, but it looks like they've upped the resolutions on some of the textures and fixed some of the bugs. Some of the original bugs are still there, to me that just helps the nostalgia. :P

I can go straight forward;
I can light dash just time it right;
i never had a prob with rail colision???;
on rails i just move left or right don't need to press forward it does nothing -.-
jump button works perfectly;
your supposed to aim at enemies thats the intention of homming attack;
i also get hurt when homming some times but its because the enemy attacked;
so i don't see were the problem is....

I do not have any of those issues listed, at all.
Jump only working 1/3 of the time? wat.

Also pushing fowards has never done anything on rails.

The problem i do find with this game is that there is no way to aim, unless you move.
funewchie Jan 15, 2014 @ 8:08pm
Most of those issues have always been part of the game, regardless of platform. A number of the others may be due to muscle memory (on the gamecube version, I was used to using the stick to balance. On this one it's a bit more sensitive and requires more practice.)

As for the colliding with the enemy, it might be that they attack right when you get near them, and you fly right into the attack/shot.

HA! I've had this for GameCube, Xbox 360, and on here. The game plays perfectly fine across all three.

Just because you don't know how to play a game doesn't mean it's glitched up beyond hell.

Are people still commenting on this? Lol.
