Muting?

Is there anyway to mute the audio while having headphones in so I can have the chao garden open and watch a video?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic Adventure 2\resource\gd_PC\

you see the ADX folder ? rename to AdXx (just add a letter)

or mute the game with audio parametre.. if you don't want sound and music

what OS are you on Vista and up, I think a couple linux distros too let you adjust the volume of individual applications, just right click on the audio icon on the task bar.
EDIT: Seems to work on Mac's in OSX too

Hey, thanks for this! I played this game so much on other systems and I replay levels so much to get chaos drives, I get a bit sick of the soundtrack so I like to put my own music on instead. It was really annoying me that I couldn't do that on this version, I'd usually just mute the TV. In case I change my mind though, I assume to undo it I just delete the extra letter from the folder name?

I'm using Windows 8 and it worked fine. I didn't need to do any of that faffing around. :p

Had to login just to say thank you for the info. I needed a certain line from Knuckles for a video of mine, and the only voice clips I could find were of Sonic or Shadow. Luckily I have this game, though.
