Who are the new characters in the Sonic Adventure DLC?

So the page said the the DLC will introduce new characters? Is it worth getting? I've played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for Gamecube years ago. Is the Steam version any different?

It's mostly the same as the gamecube version minus certain advertisements like SOAP shoes and still lacks the DLC of the dreamcast version.
Don't expect anything new, it's just the gamecube content in short.

DLC just adds back in the Gamecube additions.

So mostly for multiplayer and Chao Karate.

It’s required if you’re going for 100%. But other than that you mostly get it for the Chao
