The above also applies to the PS360 versions of the game, but hey, with PC, there's always the potential for modding - I replaced the version of "Masters of the Desert" that plays VS King Boom Boo with the one that plays VS Egg Golem.
In fact, there are some disadvantages actually.
One being the Battle DLC but also a few different levels have broken lighting and look really off compared to the original DC or GC versions. Other than that no changes really.
Though if you haven't already, don't even consider buying the PC version of SA: DX.
It's an absolutely butchered pile of ♥♥♥♥ and while you can make it through that one just fine, nearly all of the levels have broken lighting along with missing textures and objects in the environment. Plus you have to use some external programs and patches for proper widescreen and controller support. Frankly, it needs to be pulled from Steam until Sega actually bothers to have it fixed by the team responsible.
