Is it worth getting the SA2B DLC at all?
I mean does it make a difference? I've never played the orginal SA2 , because i only owned the gamecube port of it. Imho it was really good, but is it that good to an extent it is sold as an extensive DLC....? Is the dreamcast version inferior somehow?

Chao wrestling, multiplayer with a buttload of cool characters, ( I THINK) it adds green hill zone if you get 150 emblems, and thats all i can remember. Battle was great on gamecube and even better on PC.

other than all that it changes some positions of chao boxes. (and in my case i could'nt enter black market without it :( )

hmm... I guess it doesnt sound like a good enough of a deal to purchase the DLC at regular price... i dont care for pratically any of the things mentioned here aside from green hill zone and maybe the chao boxes..

Well i care alot about the Chao content but chao wrestling is pretty minor to me compared to the other components..
idk- like i said but i'll just get it when its pretty much at least 10% off during a seasonal sale

The DLC is required to 100% the game unfortunately =(. There are four emblems which can only be gotten through Chao Wrestling, which comes with the DLC. Aside from that, the DLC enables the "alternate character skins" from A-ranking all of a character's missions and a few multiplayer stages. Nothing else in the game changes. It remains the Gamecube version of the game with Big added in in the old Dreamcast spots.

It's not very much content and not at all worth the price (it should have come free with the game to begin with imo). I wouldn't suggest bothering with the DLC unless you want to 100% the game for achievements or the extra stage.

WOw that all sounds very tacky..I don't perosnally care to get 100% either frankly- I'd be just fine beating the game. ...Chao wrestling was always very annoying to me additionally. I'll probably for sure not bother unless the price of the DLC is less than a buck.

I know you probably have a lot of replies like that but no, don't get DLC battle. Chao wrestling: yea because that adds alot right( sarcastic tone is sarcastic)
New levels to multiplayer: if you don't have friends that are intrested in sonic than your only option is brother. oh and BTW you'll need an Xbox controller but you probably know that.
And that's it. I wasted my money so I hope you won't. Good luck. (you probably know all that) :)

Yes. But still keep a backup of your saves if you ever uninstall the game because it does not have cloud saving.

If you care about achievements, you have to have it. I believe Chao Karate is locked behind it which that alone I'd say is worth the price if you enjoy raising Chao.

As for the multiplayer, it's an unbalanced, insane mess with special powers all over the place and made for griefing. It plays...alright on Remote Play(takes some setting up, nothing awful but the first time was a pain) but local is better, and with one-click mods the character options are limitless. I've had a lot of fun with the multiplayer, provided you enjoy the chaos that is any Sonic game with multiplayer options.
