Local 4 player?
I've got 4 xbox wireless controllers hooked up to my computer, can this game do 4 player splitscreen?

No.
This game's multiplayer was really designed for 2 players.
Of course, you can always just switch with the other 2 player, and take turns.

Sorry, but this game was originally built for the Dreamcast. As far as I know, it only supported 2 controllers.

It is a good game, you wouldn't be disappointed.

It's long considered one of Sonic's most memorable entries.
The levels are pretty fun (and tricky at times), and most people generally agree the Chao Garden is one of the best parts.

The story was solid, the cast likeable, and it has no shortage of challenges (the story missions are easy enough. But when you start to crave more challenging missions, the game will be happy to oblige.)

Very late reply and it's possible you already have the game by now but my answer would of been yes and no. There is no 4 player split screen but there is 4 player Chao races in the the GameCube release of the game so technically there is local 4 player. There has also been a discovery of a unused 4 player split screen mode in the GameCube version of the game. https://youtu.be/YIoQlj-z1NI
