This game's multiplayer was really designed for 2 players.
Of course, you can always just switch with the other 2 player, and take turns.
Sorry, but this game was originally built for the Dreamcast. As far as I know, it only supported 2 controllers.
It is a good game, you wouldn't be disappointed.
It's long considered one of Sonic's most memorable entries.
The levels are pretty fun (and tricky at times), and most people generally agree the Chao Garden is one of the best parts.
The story was solid, the cast likeable, and it has no shortage of challenges (the story missions are easy enough. But when you start to crave more challenging missions, the game will be happy to oblige.)
