How to get controller to work?!

My Xbox Series controller wont work for this game is it something I need to tinker with or is controller just straight up not supported?!

i got the same issue, mine used to work just fine; it went to poop when i tried to get a Switch Pro to work on it. i got rid of the Switch Pro, but the Xbox won't work anymore

nvm i just fixed my issue, i just had to deselect the gamepad from player 2 and put it back on player 1 in the launch menu...

Have you tried connecting your controller to your pc before opening the game's launcher? Keep in mind that, for whatever reason, SA2's launcher doesn't detect any controllers after it loads itself up, only beforehand.

hey i've had issues recently, what i've realized is make sure your connection to PC is stable. i use a normal usb cord attached to a ps4 controller. next thing is, make sure to open the game using big picture mode and make sure it acknowledges the controller is in use, click the controller icon on the games header when in big picture mode. boot up after doing so, and the controller should be working and in use. the buttons wont perfectly sync with the correct titles but the in game "controls" menu should show what is what and such. if tjat doesn't help, feel free to dm me for any more advice.
