The Finalhazard issue

It won't let me trade places with sonic/shadow manually when I'm almost out of rings. What button is it? I'm using the Logitech F310 Gamepad.

Just fly over him and you'll switch characters.

Ah yes, the dreaded laser, ball combo. I'd say just go towards his active weak point (the red part sticking out) in a spiral, use jump and action to lock on, aswell as that jump moves you up and action moves you down.
Try finishing it as both Sonic and Shadow to see what both characters say at the end.

I believe that's the one where you start floating and all of those red balls rise from the ground. Move to the giant plate on his back and hit the big glowing part.

Just make a B-Line to the platform, once you get there you're no longer floating then hit the life support ball.

Just remember you have a 5 Minute Time Limit for this Boss Fight.

You do? I thought you only had a time limit on Final Hazard. Btw he's only talking about the first Biolizard phase, before he attatches himself to the ARK.

I was talking about the FinalHazard Fight. If you don't defeat FinalHazard in 5 Minutes, then the Earth is Destroyed & you'll have to restart the Final Boss Fight from the beginning. You DON'T have a Time Limit for the BioLazard Fight.

it drives me crazy when im trying to fight the finalhazard, i get close enough to the orbs but i simply ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bounce back without doing any damage when i try to hit them

Dead thread, I know.
But just so I can maybe spare others the annoyance of not finding any answer to the issue that maxchou and I had: I believe you only deal damage while actually holding your dash button. If you mash, that's how you end up bouncing back and not dealing damage, so hold dash when trying to damage it.

The answer to this actually more simple and strange than listed.

You CAN switch characters right before running out, you just have to fly over or under the boss to enter the "other half" of the arena. You then switch characters and get to keep some of your rings.

It is possible to do the boss without manually switching, but its an option.

Yeah, that's also correct. But while I was playing, I was mashing dashes and whenever I hit the swelling part, it would not deal damage. I just wanted to add that information because I didn't see anybody else pointing this out.
