HELP! - Nintendo Switch Pro Controller not working

I've tried to follow the guides on here and on YouTube, but I can't get my controller to register.
I changed the 0s to 1s in the config, I renamed the Launcher and Sonicapp, and I've installed x360ce, but it just registers that my controller is going nuts when that program is on. Can anyone who has connected with a Nintendo Switch Pro controller help and tell me what they did to get this game to work? I really just want to play one of my old favorite games again.

Try playing not in full screen. I have a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

Is that the only thing you changed? I usually don't do fullscreen, but did you not change the Config log and/or install another program too?
