White Jungle was a great level

Especially for a jungle level. When I got into it recently I thought, great another generic jungle level. But playing through it I noticed something, the levels great and very well made. It’s probably the shining aspect of how a level with this system should be made. It was fast, it wasn’t super irritating in fact I didn’t lose any rings on my first play, the camera wasn’t confusing, and it had a lot of really amped parts. It felt a lot better than many of sonics wonky levels, and was just an all around pleasant and fun level to play through I was surprised. About the only negative I can think of is it was kind of easy. But I’m not sure if that had to do with how well it was made or something else.

It was quite a good level and it’s on my list of the best levels in this game now next to speed highway and city escape. Whoever did the development on this level knew what they were doing.

This game in general is full of amazing levels that are the definition of peak game design. Not just White Jungle, but so many other levels in just this one game!

What I wish sega would do is make a new sonic or one with updated retro graphics like mania and do a fan poll first, see which ones the fans really want to see again. I'd love to see casino night zone again. Chemical has been done a lot but that levels really hard to cut imo since its one of the best. Metropolis zone is also awesome but I don't think its a good idea to focus to much on sonic2. Sonic2 does have some amazing levels, but the 2d ones I beat sonic 3 and carnival and a few others are fun, but a lot of the other 2d levels don't stand out as much to me as sonic2. Its actually the adventure games both 1 and 2 that revived my interest in sonic. They actually had a lot of great levels for 3d games love the casino zone in adventure 1 and its nowhere near the same as casino night zone. Its actually like a game within a game I loved farming that area in adventure 1.

love White Jungle. the music is one of my favorite parts.

Definitely better than sonics jungle level imo.
