Help!!! It's not letting me dig with Rouge??

I've tried to google it a bit to see if anyone else was having the issue but my google also just seems to be a bit confused lol. I'm also kinda computer stupid. I'm using a controller to play if that matters at all and everything seems like it should be on B, but it gives me no option to dig and I've mashed all the buttons just in case and she just wont dig anywhere.

To dig you press B while climbing a wall. Another way to dig is jump and press B.

Remember to dig you need a power up. You need to get Pick Nails from Egg Quarters.
Without that power up you can't dig.

The same goes for Knuckles, he needs a power up to dig.

Believe it or not, you're going to need to post more information than "lol" at people...

crazy enough there's a paragraph that explains i've tried everything i know what to do and it's not letting me dig. and i responded to someone telling me obvious information saying lol; because i already explained that i've tried the typical game mechanics.

this is more of a "help my game is bugged, anyone have any idea how to fix it" not a "i dont know how to play the game"; believe it or not

Does she tap her foot on the ground and say “I can’t”?

You jump and press the attack button when in the air. So if you can roll as Sonic/Shadow or shoot as Tails/Eggman then it is the same button.

Maybe you’re forgetting to jump lol? Cause I’m SA1 you can dig while standing but not in 2.

Check the button mapping in the game launcher to see if anything is missing?

You didn't say how you tried to dig, you just said you were mashing your buttons. That isn't helpful at all. The only other information you gave was that you used a controller.
So I had to assume the possibility that you didn't know how to dig.

What controller are you using? Sometimes using certain controller can mix the button up.
I know when I use a controller that says 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, I have trouble on certain games.

Actually you can dig while standing in 2. You need to press Y (or the closest equivalent button) to switch between a bunch of options until it says "Dig".

It's just much faster to do it like you said : P

With all the "Better X" mods out, that let you put on Sunglasses with the d-pad and other things, I'm surprised to hear anyone still even messes with the antiquated action window haha
