A ranking Crazy Gadget

I am having trouble with A ranking Crazy Gadget. I am on the first mission and I can only seem to make it to about 16500. That sort of score. How many points do I need to get the A rank and if possible, where is the golden beetle in this level? Many thanks in advance.

plus you dont need an a rank just go through the game as normal
nobody is perfect
also golden beetles do not exist in SA2

I am trying to A rank to 100% Sonic Adventure 2. The golden beetles are those rare enemies that appear once per level in a specific location. Upon defeating the golden beetle, the player is rewarded with 1000 points.

Finding mission 4 REALLY damn tricky!

The thing I find about the 4 missions is that you basically have to do everything you would normally do to get an A in the first mission but faster, at least that's my general mentality. Really the thing that holds up my 100% playthroughs are the driving stages and the chao games.

The driving lvels are easy, just know your limitations on speed and slow on sharp and narrow areas. Also laern how to drift by letting go of the A button and pressing it again.

I know how to play them, and I've A ranked them several times... but you can't tell me the avoid the cars/sides/both missions are easy, especially when going for said A ranks.
