SA2 Crashing After Installing Loader for SA2 ModLoader

Alrighty. I have finally found the root of all the problems I've been having with SA2. Everytime I press 'install loader' on my SA2 ModLoader, it makes my game crash on the Omochao tip screen. If I uninstall the loader, the game runs perfectly fine. I'm hoping someone here has encountered this problem before and knows what to do to fix it.

i have the same problem how do i select that option and where in the game launcher or in the mod manager

Do you have the most up-to-date mod loader? SA2's mod loader can't auto-update.

I have been having the same problem and with the most up-to-date mod loader, all I know is that 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired, but with no idea which file it is I can't do anything, and when I open the mod loader it says that installed loader DLL different from copy in mods folder, when I hit yes it cause the crash
