Dry Lagoon and my mass anxiety with water levels
Seriously, this level, Aquatic Mine, and Death Chamber are just a few examples that I just can NOT get past without feeling a mass amount of anxiety. Like, I understand what the developers are going for, but with the controls being so finicky ON TOP of me not being used to gaming on a computer, ON TOP of me not playing sonic adventure or any 3D game in over 3 years, no wonder it makes me so anxious.
But, I cant be the only one right???
Please tell me if anyone feels the same, I feel like such a square for getting spooked by these levels. Even moreso that im 20.
I dont even think I was this anxious playing these levels when I was 15!!!

I... feel the exact opposite, especially when swimming controls are fun to use, which was the case for me with games like Spyro 2 & 3, Majora's Mask and yes, Sonic Adventure 2 thanks to those games having good swimming controls on their own and finding ways to make it fun.

BTW you can also find an upgrade for Knuckles that gives you unlimited air underwater thus removing the stress, and gaming on a computer is almost like gaming on a dedicated home console if you buy a controller for it. Also, don't worry if it's been a long time since you played 3D Sonic - 3D platformers in general have been something of a dead genre for years and it's hard to get used to when they barely exist these days, but you'll get used to it if you keep at it.

I also suffer from anxiety in general myself, but mainly only at the things I haven't given a go for myself yet, and this isn't one of them.

That is TOTALLY fair!! The thing thats stressing me out the most about Dry Lagoon in particular is the emerald placements can be REALLY bad, but, I guess the dark story is supposed to be a bit harder.
