chao world extended/ how to disable kicking chao

just installed the chao world extended. went to pick up my chao and kicked it across the room. its so frustrating! how do i disable it? i barely walk up to the chao and the character walks into the chao and it makes the chao go flying. please help!!!!!

You have to turn off the invisibility mod and then this won't happen
