How do I delete everything from SA2 and start fresh?

My Chao Garden has became glitched and I want a fresh start with this game anyway. I tried deleting the save data by uninstalling and reinstalling the game but to no avail. Would I have to manually go into my files and delete some stuff or Is there some other solution?

In Steam, go to Library > right click Sonic Adventure 2 > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local files, then go to resource > gd_PC > SAVEDATA, and delete all the files in that folder. However, keep the folder, or you'll break the game.

For future reference, the "ALF" is the Chao Garden save data, and the "S<insert number here>" ones are the save files.

Majority of games these days use Steam Cloud so uninstalling/reinstalling normally doesn't do anything. User configs and save files are generally kept in the cloud for most games
