Go to the launcher
(Or click "Play" through Steam and it should open the Launcher)
Go to the Audio or Sound tab and make sure your sound is turned up or if the device you want to hear the sound from is the one selected.
Unfortunately
If this does not work than it could possibly be that the sound files are corrupted (which would mean you might have to find them online somewhere and replace them in files of the game)
Hope this helps.
Make sure your sound drivers in windows are set to "16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)" in the sound control panel. I have a DAC and I usually have it set at the highest possible quality, but I've found that some games are not coded to handle uncommon audio driver situations. DOOM 2016 also bugs out.
