FINALHAZARD IS TOO HARD?

Title to grab people's attention.

Okay so like I've played this game since it was on gamecube, I've finished it multiple times and yes even finished it on PC, now I am trying to do it again and I cannot for the life of me beat the Finalhazard with Shadow and Sonic.

I honestly don't remember the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing being this hard??? Anyone else feel this way??

I get 5 hits no problem, but on the last hit with Shadow I always die, no matter what I do it seems like the lazers are locked onto me and always meet whenever I get close to the weak point. I've tried baiting it out, I've tried waiting for it, etc Either I'll get hit so many times I die, or I'll be hanging around too long and Shadow will run out of rings. I can't get that last hit!!!

Any suggestions?!?!

Again it seems the lazers AI is broken or something, It keeps locking on to me no matter what I do, I try to cross over them and get to the other side of them or follow their movements etc, and its IMPOSSIBLE to dodge them if they decide to do an X formation. I really don't understand what's going on I've played this game for YEARS and now suddenly its giving me trouble.

It's definitely difficult but not impossible. The one tip I'll give you is that when you are running low on rings, try to fly past the Biolizard and it'll switch to Sonic, giving you more time to make another attempt. I don't know how to give advice on getting that final hit... you just gotta juke it out. I find I am much more successful when I work fast, rather than playing it slow. Just keep mashing that A and X button to go up and down while working your way around the lasers
