There is a mod that fixes the Bright Chao glitch!

I noticed that this hasn't been posted here yet. Exant64 recently released a mod that makes it so that Shiny Two-Tone Chao can appear properly! There is some weirdness, but you can now more freely raise Shiny Two-Tone Chao of different alignments and see the colors that they're supposed to have. You can download his mod from this page: https://github.com/Exant64/BrightFix/releases

This needs the SA2 Mod Manager. If you're using it, then place this mod in the mods folder and enable it with SA2 Mod Manager.

i downloaded the mod and i see the option in mod manager....but its not working. am i doing something wrong? cause ive been looking for this fix forever!!! XD

Hmm. In the Mod Loader menu, does one of the buttons say "Install Loader"? If so, then you need to click it so that "Uninstall Loader" is displayed instead, which signifies that the enabled mods and codes take effect.

I have installed the mod, Have the mod loader, and my button says uninstall, but I'm still having the Bright Chao issue. Please Help.

Are you using the mod "Chao World Extended"? That mod treats the "Bright" bugged Chao as its own color and the original Shiny variants are accessed via feeding a fruit purchased at the Black Market to a "Bright chao" so that both types of chao can exist together in the same garden if one wished.
