Xbox One controller not working
So, I just bought the game, and I notice that my controller isn't working. And since this was originally made to be played, using a controller. It seemed kinda odd and annoying, and so I found out that it's supposed to be controller compatible. Seen in settings and such. Yet it isn't. So, I need to use a keyboard to play. But the controls seem off, to play with. The only time the controller works is when starting up the game and skipping the cut scene. But then it stops. I even tried with my second controller, still didn't work. So I think this is a bug. Maybe someone else is having this problem, or know how to fix it. Please tell me. I'd highly appreciate it. Thanks.

are you using bluetooth or plugging it in via usb?

I was using USB, and I found the problem already. It was when starting up the game, before actually starting it up. But rather that box beforehand. In settings from there, and not actually the game it self. Still very annoying it was hidden away there. But I got it fixed. Thanks anyways.

How did you get around that? I'm having a lot of trouble of it detecting its there but also not working at all.

Go to Library > Sonic Adventure 2 > controller configuration, and clear the peepgamer thing. For some reason it defaults to that. Once there, you can either apply a player made configuration, or simply use regular gamepad controls
