Directsound create failed?

Is anyone else recieving this when trying to launch this game? I've tried installing DirectX again, but it doesn't do anything. One time I was able to get the game to launch, but when trying to create a new profile, it would say "saving" and then stop creating the profile. Some help would be much appreciated.

the only way I'm able to play the game is when it isn't fullscreened, which is fine, but if I could somehow fix the problem that would be cool too.

Have you tried big picture mode?

Big picture fails to work as well.

Hello! I faced the same problem! This happened when I broke my headphones into smithereens due to losing a new match in Dota 2 ☠️💀☠️💀☠️... in short, just try connecting new headphones or reconnecting old ones, it helped me (and also, sorry for my broken English, I wrote this via Google translator, and Im from Russia 🐻🍺🇷🇺)
