Which controllers work with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle?

Tried playing this game with a keyboard and the controlls are awful. Going to go out and buy a controller for it. Which controllers does this game support? Will it support an Xbox One controller?

Yes it does I personally use an Xbox One Controller, that and the 360 controller are Compatable with most games right out of the box, But I prefer the Xbox One's since the 360's bumpers and D-pad sucked.

PS3 or 4 controllers are good but in allot of Cases you need to download a program to make the games think your useing an Xbox controller but once you get the program it's useally fine. many people prerfer Playstation controllers so the programs should be easy to use.

PS4 and PS3 work native on steam now. You do not need a specical driver to use them on games. They use the steam controller input and can be remapped on steam overlay. It's great.

It works on sonic adventure 2, as well.

I've tried the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers and they run will. I've also used an ipega by remapping the keyboard controls, but that controller's ♥♥♥♥ no matter how you stack it.

Windows 10, plug it in.
Everything else, Plug it in, wait for drivers to install.

'Cept Linux. There you have to do some driver-fu, but if you're a Linux user you're probably either dual booting or have a seperate machine like I do.

Linux is not good for games, maybe everything else, just not games.

actually i tried connecting my ps3 controller but my game doesn't even read it is it because i'm using windows 8? cuz i hate windows 10

i have both Sonic adventure DX and 2 battle im using a usb Gamecube controller

it works with DX but 2 battle isnt detecting it at all why is that
