If anything, Plus' chain hit penalty severely penalises multi-arming far far more than vanilla, so you wouldn't be making an eight-handed mutant if you were making the point you think you're making.
Tonfas
afaik they are the same game, there are just more items maybe and more content. I don't think there were any fundamental differences. everything you could do in the original game you can do in the modded versions.
unless there is a reason why this game can't be modded then i'm sure it'll end up with its own mods, eventually.
Just wanted to say that I've been following all of your responses (I'm bored lol) and I completely both appreciate and respect your clear understanding of the importance of differentiating between vanilla and E+. Just wanted to throw my kudos out there. :)
This also isn't going to be some discussion about the superiority of one version over another or whatever, but... yeah I'm a vanilla player lol. I'm part of an incredibly rare species at this point. :')
(Also if it's cool for me to mention this, I... swear I've seen such similar sentiments expressed in Discord. Are you on there too?)
Also, they're adding steam workshop support at some point which would be awesome for us all
I mean, the game has actual funding now. Quite a big difference.
What I would like to see is more detailed dialogue customisation like Creator of Another World, the ability to found our own settlements, and a more interesting world map. From the description, Tyris honest sounds like the most boring place (all the pop culture reference aside). And I want to see what the other nations in Ylva look like in game.
Funny thing is that it wasn't "abandoned shortly after release", Elona was supported for a considerable period after 1.0, with 1.22/1.24 experimental being the final version. But the internet is what it is.
I mean that in the sense that there's an actual team/biggerteam that had been funded in some way.
