Cant keep up with the Ether symptoms
I had enough medals to cure one with 2 medals to spare, I was able to cure one symptom leaving me with three symptoms. I now have 9 medals and am back up to six symptoms.

I know you can buy them in the casino (60k Orwen), but was wondering if there was a good source of medals...they dont seem to drop much for me. Thanks

medals are rare, it is much easier to get antibodies from the casino by just playing the basketball minigame. Also, you shouldnt be getting that many symptoms that fast, are you playing some race/class combo that gets more ether buildup or wearing ether build up gear?

You could get the potion in the Casino as as well. (Located in Palmia)
Note that you could meditate (After stripping down in the changing room) in a hotspring to slow down the progress of the disease.

On my Juere Farmer character I get 1 stage of ether disease roughly every 140 days. As above asks, maybe check if you have ether attracting gear or your race / class to see if you have anything that's increases the rate of which you gain stages.

Note that you can bless antibody potions with blessed water and it will decrease 4 stages of ether disease instead of 2. You can also wish for antibody potions using a well wish if you've picked up a wish from the wish statue during adventuring. You get more potions if you have multiple 'black cat salivas' that you get from finding the same statue after getting a wish.

You could also check the wiki for the static medal locations, there's roughly 50 hidden around all corners of the map in towns and cities.

Ya I wouldn't suggest blowing medals on antibodies, there are much better uses for medals and they are hard to come by. Basketball and blackjack in the casino are basically free, it's just a time investment and you'll have enough chips for the antibodies.

But ya check your gear, items made out of ether increase the rate you get ether diseases. I'm only getting an ether disease once every ~250 days personally, playing yerle and nefu, with no sources of resistance.

definitely use the casino. They have beds in the northern corner you can use to sleep and the basketball mini game is easy enough to play after you get used to it. Plus it trains your throwing skill lol.

Whaaaat ? Meanwhile I am 220 days in and still no symptom... I am playing Nefu but there is no ether resistance displayed in character creation....

Maybe you did take ether damage ? It apparently increase the count toward symptoms according to wiki

Seems like Ether damage and/or equipping ether gear (most likely the former).

And yeah, Casino's the best bet. Ecopo takes forever to gather and Small Medals are too valuable (you want those artifact weapons more).

If you play an elea then you almost never get a ether disease. I have like 900 days and i only had one

Another way is with Ecopo. Just mine up all the dirt in the random fields (great for levelling mining skill), gather the pebbles and junk stones, make more pebbles with the junk stones (each junk stone makes 20 pebbles and feed them in bulk to a garbage can don't forget to do this with large numbers of grass tufts too. Making the makeshift arrows to feed the can helps too. I dumped about 200 dirt from running quests and got almost 60 Ecopo in one go... took one (in game) day since I was grinding quests.

Thanks all for the responses...forgot about blessing the ether cure...how do you bless pots again?
clockwalker Nov 19, 2024 @ 7:38pm
You can blend blessed water with things to make them blessed. Put water in the shrine of the deity you warship will turn it into blessed one.

you can also buy antibody potion from the ecopo trader for 4200 ecopo but no clue how to get so much from dumping stuff into a garbage can^^

I have blessed water...how can I blend it with the antibody to get a blessed antibody? What device do I use...mixer?
FDru Nov 19, 2024 @ 9:50pm
Middle-click or R on the water and there should be a blend option, then you insert the item you want.

Also try to get a Vindale cloak (Black Market or Wishing) it makes you immune against ether
