A demigod can technically "level it up" through their trait bonus (among many other useful attributes) if they're not worshiping a deity, however, not worshiping a deity makes leveling up faith quite difficult, if not impossible, and the kind of bonuses you get through this trait depends on your faith; it also has diminishing returns. This leaves you in a catch-22 of having to basically forgo your trait for many years before you can maximize the demigod's trait.
okay thanks, i guess the same goes for luck then?
It's not like you can grow it like Strength or something.
Might affect how much benefit you get from gear bonus, as a guess. For example my Nefu has 125 speed plus a +3 speed glass weapon, this puts her at 130 speed, for some reason. Like hovering over the stat says 130 (125 + 3). Could be a rounding error or bug, but when I read your post just now the thought it could have been potential came to mind.
no idea how it happened, but i suspect it might have been from ether some Hidden stat on Cartesian food types or something to do whit being overweight or Exhausted and still doing stuff, but no idea what i did.
but it didn't appear to happen before i had done around 400 days in game stuff.
It's also worth considering if you plan to take a small party with you to dungeons, totem pole meta (riding pet and symbiosis with another pet) will lead to 30% increase instead.
