Questions about farming
I started playing a Juere farmer recently and I have a couple questions regarding farming:
1. Is there a good way to powerlevel the farming skill early on? At the moment I've been plowing puppy cave and any cave nefias I come across but it doesn't feel particularly quick.
2. How much am I going to miss Kumiromi if I were to convert? Long-term I'm considering switching to Yevan because becoming a whirling dervish with the scythe appeals to me. It feels like having a high enough farming skill can compensate for not worshiping Kumiromi, but I was wondering if I'm overlooking anything special aside from the artifact gimmick.

Well aside from the option of spending Platinum Coins to receive training to boost your skill exp multiplier for Farming, you can get some extra farming exp by watering your crops with a watering can, if you've made one.
It doesn't seem to take any stamina, so it's kind of free bonus EXP.

Otherwise, just grow a lot of crops, like low fertility-requirement stuff like Pasture.
Or lots of fast-growing crops like Mushrooms.
Though considering I never tried grinding via mass tilling, I'm unsure how that compares to just farming normally.

what about seeds, aside the tomato one you get during the tutorial, is there an npc selling seeds, or do i need to use the sickle on the npc crops in towns or during the board quest?

during board quest is probably the best. make it easy on yourself and use it on the small ones

I'm still confused as to what the watering can is supposed to do. I've never used one. If the tutorial told me what it was for and when to use it, I missed that part.

It just speeds up crop growth but you arent missing it, just go on an adventure and come back

According to the wiki each time you water a crop it speeds up the crop's growth by 1 day.
Though if there's only one day left, or you're growing something like Mushrooms which only take 1 day, it won't just magically make it harvestable right there, you'll just have to wait the final bit.

You need to plant flowers or pasture, they only cost 0.5 fertilty. The farming experience is granted upon sucessful interaction, doesnt matter how "valueable' your crops are, you need a large number to powerlevel skill level

i though spending platinum coins on skills only raises the cap, not the current skill level?

Skill potential is at minimum 100, that's what raises (temporarily) with plat coin training. I.e. you gain more xp until the potential gets "used up" and eventually return back to 100 potential (unless you have permanent base potential from other sources)
