Scroll on world map??

I am trying to find the capital, but i have no clue where the hell im even supposed to walk. Can we move the world map without moving the character?

i also have that issue, i play in full screen and the game options does have an edge screen scroll but ive never been able to get it to work, in the end i use the map on the wiki

The game was probably intended to be like that because there's items that unlocks your view like the binoculars or telescope.

oooh so thats what those things are for, i swear i keep finsing out thing about it that are not really mentiones, like holding down shift or control when placing furniture to fine tune its placement
