Where the HELL do you get threads?!

I just want to make some textiles out of stuff that I have, but in order to make them you need threads which I don't have at all. Thought they are craftable, but throughout the two in-game years the recipe's never came up in the dream. Read up that destroying garbage bags yields threads in some threads, but all I get are paper/plastic scraps instead. Can't find them as a drop either. The shops don't sell them as far as I've seen so far.

It's literally one of the first things I crafted. The loom has recipe for the textiles but doesn't have the recipe for the threads, what kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is that?

spin pieces of [material] like paper or plastic into thread
then take that to the loom

Eh threads can be produced by using loom with silk you get that from spider web in cave or dungeon, there is also many type of textile all can be produced in loom

Textures can be made at loom, and Textures require Threads. I can't find what a Loom makes Threads out of.

use shears on animals (some npcs and enemies can also be sheared) to get wool/cashmere/scale/etc, collect spiderwebs (silk) from nefias, or use a hammer to dismantle trash (paper)
