Help with citizen storing items

No sure what i am doing wrong so simple setup in my first base power generator + fridge set to shared (did try stockpile sighn and goods sighn) but fish are never stored ? similar setup but with lumberjack in the mine town for fuel storage nothing is put into storage did also try blacksmith with both different sighns what i am doing wrong?

Uhh NPc does horrid job in producing those thing, it takes years for them to be decent and it took even more years to be profitable.

NPC storage and priority settings for containers are incredibly janky right now. I'm not sure how much of that - or in what direction - is going to get fixed, but at the moment you're going to have to do a lot of it yourself.
