Bamboo for Branch

Hello, I'm a new player and currently playing as an Archer. I noticed bamboo only drop branch unlike any other tree type so I want to farm it for steady supply of arrows, but I couldn't find a way to plant them. Can anyone helps?

unlike other trees, bamboo grow from bamboo sprouts (you can find thoses in the wild). After some time, the matured sprout turn into the bamboo tree

plow the ground below where you intend to plant it to be sure to get back seeds after cutting down the tree

Just to be sure, by bamboo sprouts you meant bamboo shoot?
or is that a different item?

yeah, sorry, bamboo shoots indeed =p The ones you can eat

Ah, I tried to plant that before but it got rotten instead. Maybe I did it wrong... I will try again. Thanks for the help!

you can also leave them long enough to get bamboo WOOD, any immature tree gives branches instead.

To be precise, you need to harvest the seeds from them. With a sickle. the bamboo shot itself will rot once you harvest it with axe or hands.
