Here you can see some things that were tested and reported to work or not, as well as the general rules
If you don't have 7 league boots, skipping chunks of time moving on the world map is an immediate QOL, especially if it rolls anything on it besides the map movement speed.
If you don't mind giving up your back slot for the Vindale Cloak those also are pretty good, resisting ether diseases is nice early game . . . but certain ether diseases are REALLY STRONG and could actually be played as buffs not debuffs to your character " ether hand adding poison to MA builds as an example."
IF you have a lot of luck god sativa items, choosing a [weapon name] to get a godlike version of it for ranged weapons is AMAZING especially if you save scum.
Kings bed is a great "land value/tourism" item to give you passive income especially if you add "bed slots" via the medal upgrade sold at Mirals. It is also the best bed in the game to learn new recipes and having max worker efficiency if they get assigned it.
You could make a case for a few other keywords on the list, but it all depends on you. :)
