you can make metal (ingot) by smelting ores
initially you buy get recipe by exploring towns in this game. cooking station recipe can be bought (cauldron/oven) at tinkers camp
you will also unlock new recipe by training specific skills
There is also the possibility of spamming nefias, to find the weehls shrines that grant random receipes. there is also a big probability of receipe in chests and boss chests.
baring that, your next best best if probably destroying items with hammer and enough learning attribute. Gives you a chance to understand the receipe of the destroyed item
Then, after that, best bet is opening chests in towns. So either claim/pickpocket chests in city to get random receipes. You can also do the same with book/maps containers, they can rarelly gives receipe. All of thoses respawn once per month.
You can also check bookstores in towns, they might have receipes in their inventory if I remember.
bone powder (bone + bone in grinder) also count as 'liquid" for receipes. Because.... 'MAGIC'. You can also harvest chemicals stains on the ground of machine nefias. It has a huge probability to give dirty water, so it's a good way to aquire big quantities of a single type of liquid ( for crafting the cauldron for exemple )
For Cooker specifically, that'd mean getting at least level 10 Sculpting skill and then going to a city that has some and break them with your hammer.
Save-scum if you can, since even that's not guaranteed.
Also Anvil has no craftable recipes atm.
Use the wiki to reveal all unknown crafting recipes indicated within each crafting tool.
Buy maps from merchants, you can speedrun through nefia dungeons and hopefully "roll" no pun intended a Wheel Shrine which prioritizes unknown recipes.
Do quest boards and get influence to convert them to about 5-10 tickets. Go to Palmia and exchange furniture tickets for whats in the shop OR buy a bed if the merchant is selling a good one "savescum if you like by save and loading BEFORE talking to the merchant." If you want a specific recipe this is a sure fire way of getting the object you want and can use a hammer to hopefully learn it by deconstructing it "must be within 5 levels of that particular skill, each object might be a different skill."
Material Quality is linked to sleeping efficiency for both you and your npc friends at your settlement, pick the best quality for better chances at recipes.
Casino body pillow can be easily earned with a script found here or on the discord. You could also legitimately earn it through the ball game which is easy to learn or become a gambling addict doing slots.
Cooker requires level 10-15 to learn it by randomly from the mason table. Oven recipe is sold by Nino. You have to be within 5 levels of a recipe lvl to learn it so the earliest is 10 for the cooker. I decided against that and just exchanged tickets to get mine since RNG can be brutal.
Cooking recipes can be learned "within 5 levels of course of their indicated level" by just spam creating foods within the indicated tool category, maybe selling or letting your minions eat the 100s of things you are making. If you are missing a specific recipe and you are within 5 levels of its indicated level on the wiki the hammer will also do it.
