Horse suddenly wont equip boots?
I had two pairs of really nice boots on my horse but they seem to have been sold or they dissapeared or something. I dont see them in my base anymore, but more importantly I cant seem to get the horse to equip anything but a chestplate now. no matter which boots I give to them, he wont equip any.

I checked and I did have "dont use shared gear" on at one point when I had him carrying stuff, but I turned it off. any idea how I can fix this? its a lulwy follower and ive spent a crazy amount of resources training him so Id like to have him wear armor again.

Ether Disease, Hoof Transformation, cure it to make him can equip again.

And if you want the equipment always stay on them, don't gift them or distribute through share box, just open their inventory and put on them.

yep thats it, man thats super confusing
It's SO WEIRD that horses can use boots, but hoof transformation prevents that.

Gotta love those unexpected game mechanics. I think it's pretty odd horses can equip breastplates but not helmets.

Frankly Elin would have been a great time to introduce more sensible equipment slots to Elona. I can get why a horse wouldn't be able to equip a helmet made for humanoids, due to the different head shape, but there's no reason they couldn't have, say, a "bridle" slot for equipping their own version of headgear. Or a "saddle" body part instead of a "body" that can equip humanoid chestpieces. Heck, just make having a "saddle" body part be a prerequisite for the "comfortable ride" bonus, make centaurs who have both a "saddle" and "body" part, etc.

And make the saddle itself affect the ease of riding.
