How do i get logs???

For some reason when i chop large trees they don't go down and i only get bark, when i try smaller trees it works in chopping them down but i only get branches. Am i doing something wrong or is it a bug.

If you're chopping withered trees, they don't generally drop logs. That's how you get more tree seeds. Frankly, I'm not a fan of trees going withered, but it is what it is. You need to chop "mature" trees in order to get logs, generally.

EDIT: Also, you are using your axe to chop down the trees, right?

When hovering over a tree with your mouse, check if the name has (Mature).
It's mature trees that drop logs.
Anything below that will likely drop branches, and if it says (Withered) it's likely they only drop bark and extra seeds.

Yes im using the starter axe from the tutorial and im trying it on all the trees in the starting area even the green ones. The thing is they don't fall down and i only get bark do i need to chop one multiple times if so i choped one 10 times and it didnt fall down. I can chop down withered trees and saplings without problems but the mature ones i cant for some reason.

That sounds like abnormal behavior.
Normally you just click on a tree with your axe, the progress bar fills up, and that's it.
The tree's gone, and there are logs on the ground.

You're not getting interrupted with taking damage are you?
Or are you playing with any Mods that might affect things?

Hmmm i do have mods but its only images i will try without them.

Is your inventory full and so you're only actually picking up the bark and not the logs?

The tree not going down sounds 100% like a bug.
Try to make another character and see what happens.

well if i need to Farm Mature Tree's fore Log's i go to a City like Mysilia, and just Chop Down all the Trees there.

or Port Kapul fore Big Leaf's and pamula Log's fore the Price Buff.

and no impact on your Karma ether.
and if they are to heavy, just use the Box to send them to your Home.

Yeah, I found out the hard way that after chopping down the tree. I kept on chopping on the same spot. Logs became planks. Wasting stamina. Lol
