Elin
I feel like healing spells were nerfed a bit too much.
When I saw "Adjusted healing values of heal spells." I expected it to be a nerf, but not to that extent.
I'm doing lvl 200+ nefias and without proper healing it's very difficult to survive, specifically because of all the spellcasters.
Even regular enemies like Imps, Bishops and Liches absolutely destroy my hp with their spells (some of my pets in many cases just get one-shot). And the problem is that I don't get better healing spells as drops (eris/odina/jure), so I'm basically stuck with the lesser spells that can't be upgraded any further because they are already lvl 80-90.

I really hope they rebalance or revert the nerf. Or make lvl 200+ nefias drop better loot so I can keep up with the difficulty.

Yea, had similar thoughts on seeing the amount of dice dropping so hard, especially for minor healing.

If by any chance you have a leveled (40+ *) healer/mage, they do sell healing of eris/odina occasionally. Then just dupe it. But that will probably not cover your needs, if you get so little stock.

* - assuming the shop level and the base level add up. As of now I have base 33, +17 shop for my mage, +11 for my healer.

if you have the mana batery ether disease, healing rods are relatively frequent and gives you a good enough amount of Healing spell ( 3rd tier ), so that might be enough to cover your needs

Yeah, minor healing feels completely useless. I do have a few spellbooks selling vendors but that's not nearly enough unfortunately.

I do have it, I find it quite usefull so I never cure it. The issue is that Healing is not enough for me anymore. I have 1100 hp and it heals for 400hp max (8d45+39). I almost died to a regular master yeek a few minutes ago because his shadow bolt dealt like 600 damage and I got lucky he didn't spam it. So I definitely need better healing spells, but they just don't drop almost at all.
I can technically get better resistances, but that is difficult as well, because you can't use resistance runes on equipment that already has resistances.

Do you use maconomy stance?
Maybe turn that off, if possible.. No idea, as I haven't learned that feat yet, and actually don't plan to do so, at least for now xD

hmm his issues seems to lie in the number of spell charge for big healing spells, which indeed become troublesome past the 3rd rank. They both are very rare books and cost a lot, also being hard to read so gives low amount of spellcharge per reading relatively to easier books.

disabling maconomy would help but... I don't think it's enough. The 4th rank spell is just that rare. And apparently, 3rd rank doesn't heal enough for lvl200 nefias since update.

You might try to increase your will... healing power do scale from it after all (learned that the hard way by getting it reduced to 0 by a gagu boss... and became completely unable to heal myself lol)

My golem wizard sure took a hit, 3k hp whit earth hammer and 290 magic capacity, used to be able to heal it in two greath heals whit my 100+ spell enhancement and could easely go into tousands of negative mana whitout problem now i struggle after a mere -500.

Also spells still do lots of damage, and sometimes you want to pickpocket something squishy so you used mind touch or shadow arrow for blind/confused/sleep status to pickpocket whitout interuption but now the staff of greater heal barely heal anything so you can not keep your target alive.

Another thing you might try is gene editing.
Put a gene with healing of eris into your healer/mage, if you have one.
Cheapest in my stash with that skill costs 25 feat points. Got it from an evolved stone golem.

To double my Will it would probably take ages, I'm afraid I don't have the patience lol.

I don't have it unfortunately. I don't even have a gene with Healing.
Question Apr 5 @ 10:15am
I think the problem is mainly that spells do way too much damage in this game, and it is way too hard to get resists for all types. A void level 200 boss imp can one shot most characters with magic arrow, and it is almost impossible to get significant magic resist.

There are many ways to mitigate melee/ranged damage, you have two evasion skills, DV/PV on all pieces of armor, etc. Resists are much harder to get, its even harder than stacking resists in diablo 2 hell mode.
