zoomer detected. The earlier Atelier games had a gimmick where the main character would yell "Barrel" everytime you interacted with it. When you changed the main character the responses to interacting with the barrel would change as well.

i did read that u can change the text that is said in the game files (i believe in the update notes it says where)

mana khemia and atelier have the "same creator" or writer or something like that, thats why the taru joke is in both
btw i can confirm that the taru joke is in ryza too xD (in fact if you download the free music dlc for ryza 1, you can also hear the mana khemia music)
