Delivery Box Bug?

So, early-game I was traveling the world, grabbing resources. After filling up on some especially heavy items, I stopped by a Village, put some stuff in the Delivery Box, and moved on. I acquired some more heavy stuff on my way north, and stopped by a different town, putting a few items in ITS Delivery Box. When I returned home, I only received the items from the last shipment. The first shipment was lost in the Ether.

Can someone confirm that this happens, or did I just miss something? It sure seems like trying to use the Delivery Box system for multiple shipments simultaneously will break the system.

Only other thing I could think of would be if one shipment got sent to a different base than the one you checked.

Do you have a mailbox installed ?
Have you checked around the mailbox and the hearthstone ?

But as Iyasenu said, you might have accidentally visited your other base before reaching the 'different town' you mentioned ? The items in delivery box should be delivered to the first base you visit after depositing them in the town.

Only one base at the moment. I haven't even unlocked Vernis. I was actually on my way there while I was doing all this, and ended up with the classic Elin-sidetrack. Didn't even make it there, so poor Loytel has been waiting for me to arrive for over a year. As far as the other stuff, my mailbox is up and receiving stuff, and all other packages get dumped right next to it. The search function showed nothing from that first delivery at my site.

It is possible that, even though I didn't visit Vernis, just having Loytel sent there was enough to get the first delivery sent there, but then if that were the case, why did my second delivery arrive at Meadow? I really do think this may be a bug. I guess I'll know for sure if, when I do finally arrive at Vernis, there's a package waiting for me.

EDIT: Fixed Loytel's name.... Oops. Had Vernis on the brain too much, apparently, and it influenced my naming conventions.

It should have not been possible if you haven't claimed Vernis to receive your items there.

As discussed previously, items saved in the delivery box will be sent to the first land you own that you visited after making the deposit to the delivery box. It will even send to the same land that you own if you put items in the delivery box there but did not leave in time for the delivery (@5AM).

So the most logic that we though of was that you went from village > your land A > town > your land B, so the items you send from the village was sent to land A, while items you send from the town is sent to land B. Although you've mentioned this is not the case.

Can you maybe visit the village again and see if your items is still there ? Though I doubt it.

The only thing I think of next is that you somehow struck jackpot and deposited your items the night before the village changes to their festival instance and left before the shipment schedule at 5AM. Basically the map changed(incxluding the box) before your items has been 'shipped'. Though I don't know how the game handles instance changes to begin with.

Edit : No worries, I also used 'Loytel-whatshisname' when I first played the game, and that I hadn't claimed Vernis on my first play through that goes up to the 800th in-game days. By the way can you claim Vernis now ? See if your theory is correct ?

Packages usually spawn near the Mailbox and can be Placed some tiles away from there until all available Spears nearby get filled up.

then it will proceed to fill up the Space near the "Heart Stone" so if your Heart Stone is in a Pales you usually don't check, well it might be down there.

have experienced that they sometimes get "hidden" behind Structures like my Crafting Benches, so it might just be out of sight.

also if you remember what ware in the Missing Package's try and Ctrl+F and Search fore the item, and hover over them to see where the item type is in a package or the Correct plaice you short that stuff usually.

also haven't tested it, but i wonder what the Penalty is fore having to many Transport Bills unpaid is? who know maybe all Deliveries get Paused if you have to many of them?
