About Exploding Eggs In A Microwave

Niche info, but I've noticed something about when cooking the Hot Spring Egg recipe in a Microwave and the (rather likely) side effect of it causing an explosion.

1) Hearth Stone will not protect stuff from being destroyed by this explosion.
Walls below a certain hardness will be destroyed, and beware of using a Microwave near fragile objects such as crops.

2) When cooking using a Microwave placed in the world, this explosion normally hurts you, and everyone nearby as well.
This explosion cannot be mitigated by enclosing it in its own room, even if the walls are strong enough to withstand the explosion's power.

3) When cooking with the Microwave while it's being carried in your Inventory, (not placed directly in the world) it will take into account your Magic Control skill to prevent friendly fire to yourself and your allies.
This still won't prevent structural damage, however.
And since the Microwave requires Electricity, I'm unsure of how you'd take advantage of this outside of your base anyways.

4) I haven't noticed any effect of lowering the odds of the egg exploding based on Cooking skill level.
And, the egg doesn't get the [Hot Spring Effect] you'd get if you were to soak an egg in a Hot Spring instead.
Seems like it's only worth doing this cooking method once to get an Old Ticket, and then maybe never doing it again. If even that.

Does Magic Manners affect it when you're holding it?

lol good to know i already didn't use the microwave because the recipes for it (takeout pizza and hotspring egg) sucked in the first place but its good to know

It doesn't seem like it.
I've had Magic Manners since before I got a Microwave, so it's been destroying walls and crops despite having that feat.
At least it doesn't seem to destroy furniture, other crafting stations, or itself, whether held or placed in the world.
